LEARNING OUTCOME

This course aims to achieve the following learning outcomes:

  • List examples of a school's safeguarding responsibilities.
  • State the principles of safeguarding.
  • Describe effective safeguarding policies, procedures and practices.
  • Describe types of abuse and ways to recognise them.
  • Determine how to respond to safeguarding concerns.

There is a short assessment at the end of the learning module as a summative assessment to verify that learning has been transferred.
