PROGRAMME OUTLINE

To prepare the students to be future-ready, among them are being creativity, collaboration, cognitive flexibility and problem-solving, which are included in the 21st Century Competencies (21CC) for Singapore schools. One of the ways to equip the learners with the 21CC was through STE(A)M. Food and Consumer Education curriculum is a subject that encompassed the characteristics of STEM education framework, especially on the aspect of providing the opportunities of authentic real-world problems. This course provide an overview on how Food and Consumer Education (FCE) lessons can incorporate the S-T-E-M Quartet Instructional framework and fit into the curriculum.
